Steve Jobs died at the age of 56 from pancreatic cancer.
His last words were said to be:
“I have reached the pinnacle of success in business. In the eyes of others, my life is the epitome of success. However, apart from work, I have little joy. In the end, wealth is just a fact of life to which I am
accustomed.” "Lying in my sickbed and looking back on my entire life, I realize that all the praise and riches I was so proud of have vanished and become insignificant in the face of death".
Lessons to learn:
You can hire someone to drive for you, make money for you, or run errands for you, but you cannot hire someone to suffer your illness for you.
Lost material things can always be replaced. But there is one thing you can never recover once lost: Life.
When a person enters the operating room, they realize there is one book they never finished reading: “The Book of Healthy
Living.”
No matter what stage of life we are in, one day the curtain will fall.
What truly matters:
Love your family. Love your spouse. Love your friends.
Treat yourself well. Appreciate others.
As we grow older and wiser, we begin to realize:
1. A $300 watch and a $30 watch both tell the same time.
2. A $300 wallet and a $30 wallet can hold the same amount of money.
3. A $150,000 car and a $30,000 car drive the same road and reach the same destination.
4. A $300 bottle of wine and a $10 bottle still give the same hangover.
5. A 300-square-meter home and a 3,000-square-meter home can feel equally lonely.
Real happiness does not come from material things.
Whether you fly first class or economy; if the plane crashes, you crash with it.
So I hope you realize this:
When you have companions, friends, old friends, brothers and sisters;
people you can laugh with, talk with, sing with, and share life with;
that is where the real wealth lies. ❤️ Good morning all!?!
