𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘, 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗚𝗜𝗥𝗟 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪.
In a world where little girls, as young as fourteen, are already having boyfriends and drifting into immorality, there is a need to catch them young. Please tell every girl child you know these things:
🌹 𝗦𝗶𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆.
Teach her to always sit with her legs closed. It doesn’t matter if she is wearing a skirt, gown, or trousers. Sitting carelessly with legs wide open does not portray discipline or decency. A girl’s posture speaks before she even opens her mouth. Sitting properly shows self-respect, confidence, and dignity.
🌹 𝗕𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀.
Teach her the value of contentment. For example, even if all she has is just one naira, she should learn to use it wisely and manage it well instead of craving what others have. Tell her that clothes, shoes, and bags are only material things. A time will come when she will have them all in full, without lacking anything. But for now, she should be content with what she has, cut her coat according to her size, and remember that not every gift from a boy is a blessing, some may come with a price she cannot afford to pay.
🌹 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
Teach her to always go to God first before running to any human being. When she is in danger, remind her that only God can truly save her. Prayer is not just a rescue route, it is her lifeline, her direct communication with God. Tell her that in Jesus Christ she has a friend she can confide in at all times.
🌹 𝗕𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀.
Teach her to be vigilant around boys. Not fearful, but wise. How she laughs, what she says, where she goes, and how she carries herself all matter. A single careless action can be misunderstood, so she must guard herself. Modesty, self-control, and vigilance are her shield in a world where innocence is often taken for granted.
🌹 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀.
Teach her to value education above all distractions. An educated girl becomes a strong, powerful woman with a voice that cannot be silenced. Without education, she will be easily pushed aside and limited. Her books and her dreams must come first, because education is the key that opens doors no one can shut.
🌹 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻.
Teach her personal hygiene. How to care for her body, clean herself after using the toilet, wash her underwear, brush her teeth, trim her nails, and change her pads. Let her know that cleanliness is next to godliness, and a lady should always look neat and smell fresh.
🌹 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆
Teach her the beauty of modesty. Her body is the temple of God and should never be carelessly exposed. Indecent dressing robs her of dignity and exposes her to harm. Let her know she can still be stylish and elegant while being fully covered, because true beauty shines brightest in decency.
🌹 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀.
Teach her that being in a relationship too early will only bring distractions that can derail her future. For now, she should focus on her studies, her passion, and becoming the great woman God has destined her to be. It is too early to stir up emotions she cannot handle. If she wants to see her dreams come true, she must avoid relationships and invest in building herself first.
🌹 𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘅 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Teach her that premarital sex destroys destinies. At her age, it will only lead to guilt, shame, and regret. If she falls pregnant, she will be forced to drop out of school and become a teenage mother, burdened with responsibilities she is not ready for. Abortion is even worse. It can damage her womb or even take her life. Tell her not to be deceived by the sweet words of boys who only want pleasure. Let her know there is dignity in waiting until marriage, where the right man will love and cherish her for keeping herself.
🌹 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘂𝗽.
Teach her never to remain silent when she feels unsafe or uncomfortable. She must learn to voice out if anyone, especially boys or men, tries to take advantage of her. Let her know she can always confide in you, without fear of judgment or rejection. Whether it is something happening at school, at home, or anywhere else, she should feel free to open up.
🌹 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.
Teach her to love herself deeply and embrace who she is. She should never compare herself with anyone or feel less than another girl. Let her build confidence in her body shape, in the way she talks, walks, and carries herself. Show her that she is beautiful just the way she is, and her uniqueness is her strength. Teach her to walk like a queen, because that is who she truly is.
🌹 𝟭𝟮. 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.
Teach her that no matter where she finds herself, whether in school, the university, at her workplace, or anywhere, she must never compromise her dignity. She should stand firm in her beliefs, her convictions, and her values. Tell her that her dignity is her crown, and once it is lost, it is very hard to regain. She should not lose herself for mere pleasure or temporary things of the world. A girl who keeps her dignity keeps her honor before God and man.
