"My wife aband0ned me when I was bãn-ned from football and l0st my Fame. She was only there for the Money and Fame." Paul Pogba
When I got banned from football, everything in my life changed. The fame was gone, the spotlight faded, and just like that, people disappeared. I wasn’t useful to anyone anymore. The same people who used to call me every day, invite me to events, show me love and respect — they all went silent. But what broke me the most wasn’t the fans or friends walking away, it was my own wife leaving me. The woman I thought would stand beside me when life got dark simply walked away. That pain still lives in my heart.
I was no longer “Pogba the star,” so people treated me like I didn’t matter. It felt like everything I built just fell apart in front of me. But maybe that’s what I needed. That season of pain helped me see people for who they really are. It hurt, but it also woke me up. I’m finally at peace because the noise is gone. No more fake friends, no more lies. I now know I’m walking this journey alone, and that’s okay. I’ve found strength in the silence.
